I am a Sofia-based U.S. counsel with international practice focusing on international arbitration and cross-border transactions. My dispute resolution experience focuses on representation before international tribunals with emphasis on investor-state arbitration. In this capacity, I have acted on behalf of foreign investors under the ICSID and UNCITRAL rules. My transactional experience involves representing private equity and venture capital investors and financial institutions in complex transactions across Central and Eastern Europe. I have counseled clients of all sizes ranging from multinationals to high-net-worth individuals, and have worked with businesses across industries such as real estate, mining, waste management, telecoms, and IT.

I provide targeted legal solutions as part of a decentralized team drawing on the expertise of a diverse group of lawyers across North America and Europe. Currently, I am a member of International Arbitration Chambers New York.

Prior to my current role, I was a senior associate at the Sofia office of a London-based international law firm where I was involved in cross-border transactions and international investment disputes on behalf of foreign investors. I began my career at the Chicago office of an international trade law firm where I appeared before state and U.S. federal courts. I have an LL.M. from Columbia Law School in New York and a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law where I served as a Lead Articles Editor on the Law Review Board. I am an active member of the New York State Bar (2018) and the Illinois State Bar (2004).
